hey just thought i'ed say that it is only 19 days till Christmas, 9 days till Irene and I are home, and only 2 days till erica is home!!!!!!!!!! i cant wait miss you all!

I take out the trash

FAMILY!

I am writing this post for our very own Meagen Jensen who told me to write about how i take out the trash for our dorm, which is funny because Meagen is actually doing the trash right now for us as i write this. Thank you Meagen! so the past two times i have taken out the trash...this is the 3rd time in 6 weeks that it has been taken out! hahahahah so first step is wait till it is overflowing by this time i cant stand it any more and no one else has taken it upon them self to do it, i then take both trash containers (one is a regular can the other is a box... we figure the more trash cans the less we... i mean I have to take it out) hahah it is then a walk of about 100 steps to the central building where it is dumped and then the cans are brought back.  Well LOVES to alll!!!

Journey of 62lbs

I have been playing with Cambridge for over a year. Then in Jan 2010 approching 260 pounds I decided to do something about it. I wrote down everything I ate and looked up its calories. It sounds anal but I had never done it before and it was magic when I could determine how much I would lose based upon my calorie intake! I droped 62 pounds in 6months. I love my cambridge fruit shakes and my 9pm chocolate frostys! The more cambridge, fruit and vegtables I eat the more I seem to lose. I try to exercise 5 days a week for 30 minutes to an hour, walking and weight lifting, it has made a huge difference in my health. So drink up and enjoy, it does work, if you work it! Happy Birthday to my beautiful, older, wiser sister!!! I love thinking about all your wonderful birthday memories I have with you! Last year at this time I was rushing up to JMU after just returning home from school to celebrate your day of birth with you. I wish I could rush off to Belize this year, but we will just have to celebrate you being 23 in 22 days upon our arrival in Hawaii!!!!! I am so proud of you and all the hard work you are doing in Belize! I felt this picture above reflected what we would probably be doing if you were here to celebrate your birthday. The usual Sunday activity. hah I'm glad you have much more fun things planned for yourself there and hope you enjoy this birthday that you will definitely never forget! ALEXANDER THOMPSON HOWE

This guy right here was just accepted into the 2010 Freshman class at Brigham Young University. Alexander Thompson Howe is an amazing student, leader, son and brother. Obviously BYU saw this and accepted him. I know I am joined with the rest of my family in congratulating him on being amazing! Go COUGARS! I am so proud.

Piglet, Piglatte, Piggy, Pig, Piggy Pie, Piggy Wiggy...you get the idea

I figured it was high time I posted pictures of Piglet and her lovely adventures...I also thought Marlene would definitely enjoy the pictures. So let me give you a tour in the "day of the life of Piglet." Her day begins when I wake up. She is waiting outside my bedroom door (She is not allowed in my bedroom, it's the one place that is mine).  She bursts through the door the minute I open it and proceeds to be under my feet. I usually pick her up and hold her while I open all the windows, at this point she is dying to eat. I reach the kitchen and feed her. She then chows down her food. After she is full she wants to be held again, so while I check my email she sits in my lap and usually starts to fall asleep. The day goes on in a variety of activities for her. It involves 3 things. 

1. Sleeping in my lap

2. Playing with her toys

3. Waiting for me in the window and meeting me at the door

Piglet has a good life as you can see. The day wraps up with me feeding her dinner, the evening is usually a repeat of the first2 activities, until I go to bed. At which point she walks to my bedroom door and sits. She is quiet the nice companion. :)

I thought this was a funny picture. Piglet and Rishi (Kristen's dog that I watched for the weekend). They were not exactly friends, but they tolerated each other.
