Happy Birthday Beautiful Sister

Happy Birthday to my beautiful, older, wiser sister!!! I love thinking about all your wonderful birthday memories I have with you! Last year at this time I was rushing up to JMU after just returning home from school to celebrate your day of birth with you. I wish I could rush off to Belize this year, but we will just have to celebrate you being 23 in 22 days upon our arrival in Hawaii!!!!! I am so proud of you and all the hard work you are doing in Belize! I felt this picture above reflected what we would probably be doing if you were here to celebrate your birthday. The usual Sunday activity. hah I'm glad you have much more fun things planned for yourself there and hope you enjoy this birthday that you will definitely never forget! ERICA'S PLACEMENT!!

holy cow! our beautiful, amazing sister/daughter has received her peace corps placement! and will be sworn in as an office volunteer in only a few short weeks!! (2 i think)

for those of you who haven't heard, erica will be moving to Punta Gorda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (aka PG) She will depart her beloved Belmopan at 1pm on Sunday. And she said her new host family for the next two weeks is a married couple with one daughter.

Anyways, I'm just really excited for her so I was googling PG to see it and thought I'd share two pictures I found.

I also tried looking for the women's group she will be working with, but couldn't find anything about it online. I guess erica can make them a website or something :] just kiddding. but anywho, i'm so excited for her!!!! and proud. I still am amazed but just how selfless and huge her heart is.
