we had a really really fun time, thank you everyone who picked up the slack and made it so we were able to do this. FUN IN THE SUN!(mabe to much sun!)

so... me dad and Allan's second day it the beach!!
were having so much fun!!!! but me and Allan got really burnt
today!! :( dad sied he did not full fill his job as a dad! we put so much sun sreen
on! and we still got burnt bad!! but be sides that we had a lot of fun today!!
jumping the waves was so much fun me and allan feelt a crab on are toes!!
thats wen me and allan start sreaming!! and thiring to get to shour ASAP!
we tould dad and of course he says it a shell! so that was fun!! and this moring we went
to church it did not start un till 10 after!! but there talks were good!!!!

Myrtle Beach

Allan, Marlene and I made it to the Beach at about 1pm. It only took us 6 hours. We unloaded the car and checked in and then took a dip in the beautiful warm atlantic ocean. Allan went in for his first time to day and rode the waves with us. Marlene has been doing it for yrs but this is a first for Allan. The water is sooo nice! After the sun went down we went back out to the pool and swam under the moon and stars! Wow fantastic. I relized I forgot my journal so I'm really glad we have Wi Fi and the girls set up this blog. I'll just write here instead. Irene and Mary made it safely to Utah and have Irene all ready to go for Monday classes. They had a great trip accross the USA as you can see from some of the photos. Now Irene has a car and can drive to see family and different schools when she starts working. More tomorrow.

Since when have we allowed FLUFF in the household?

Allan and the FLUFF!!!!

So tonight at about 10:15 PM allan was going thru the kitchen in search of food.... what he found was PURE SUGAR about 10 GRAMS of it and it was in the form of marshmallo fluff!!! I took it from him and put it back into the cabnet, dad said "allan why not try some cambridge?" allan said no and ended up not eating. just thought mom would find some comfort is the fact that there is still some rules in place in the house.

hi!! well......I HAVE TO GIVE AUNT HELLEN A BATH ON
FIRDAY!!!!! GOING TO BE FUN!(not) but that is ok!
i know how to do it so that is good!i just cant bleave a 10 year old is given
her 85 year old a bath!! but all should go well!

I just wanted to comment on Alex's description of the fluff and slim jim. I honestly laughed so hard that I was crying. Keep it up. I'm glad to know Marlene and Allan are safe from making bad tasting decisions while Mom is gone. Any exciting Aunt Helen stories?

Mom and Irene, you guys are having an amazing journey. I am so jealous! :) I hope that you are as excited to see Mount Rushmore as I am for you to see it. PLEASE TAKE TONS of pictures for me. I am glad the drive is smooth.

ROADTRIP UPDATE!!

woooohoooo! mom and I are roadtriping and having a lot of fun, but we still miss you all dearly!!!

so tonight i went upstairs to find mom around 9:30pm. i looked in the kitchen and instead spotted a prancing Marlene with a giant, overflowing spoonful of marshmallow fluff. Not only was her spoon size of this fluff astounding, her next action is what made this spotting noteworthy...
She is holding in her other hand the jar of slim-jims. yes...slim-jims! She was trying to balance one slim-jim in her hand while putting the lid back on the package and putting the package back in the cupboard; all while holding onto her marshmallow fluff filled spoon. I started laughing at her and asked her "Are you really planning on eating that slim-jim after you finish your marshmallow fluff?". She looked at the disgust on my face and responded with a simple "no." and proceeded to put away her slim-jim with the other slim-jims. I will never know if she returned to the cupboard for her slim-jim after she finished her fluff but I feel better for knowing I did my part to save her from that atrocious taste combo.

This is so cool. Well because we are used to INDOOR pluming we had to get our main drain unclogged! $450 ouch! Tree roots...I'll keep you all updated on how much it costs to run this lovely home. Tonights our last night with Erica...:( butwe keep the bottom lip up because we know she will have a great experience! Talk later, I'm going to go visit.

Alex, I am concerned about you and the direction you have taken this blog. I think that you should drop the snake idea and move onto bigger and better things, such as...PENGUINS!!! Not only are they hypoallergenic but they are also so cute, and as you know being cute is a MUST in this family.

Alright family, I am about to set off on my adventure to Belize. I know all of you are concerned and sad, but I promise you IT WILL BE OKAY. Please do not forget me in the next 27 months. Drop me a message and/or piece of mail. I was thinking that getting funny postcards/cards/letters might make my day every once in a while. I will try to do the same.

Hello Fam. i am so glad we have a blog to share every thing and any thing with you guys. so i would love to tell you my wish much as irene has shared her wish... i would like to start up a Cobra Farm. Now now please hear me out, First they dont shed hair, just skin which is so much easier to clean up, 2nd they are non-allergenic AKA i wont sneeze! YAY ME!!! and we can make money!!! my one wish in life.

my dearest family, let me be the first to say that i am thrilled about our new blog! now we can all write about our lives and keep each other updated on special stuff! It's like a journal (electronic) for the whole family!

so my point in this post was to display my one wish (currently) in life. a teacup Pomeranian; a white, female, teddy-bear faced one to be specific.
oh how precious little sophia snowball is :] i would be the happiest girl alive. maybe christmas...think about it.
